Mount Albert House

Nestled in the heart of Mount Albert, this 216 m2 early 1900s bungalow had remained largely unchanged since the 1970s, preserving a bygone era within its walls. Reimagined for modern family living. The interior was carefully replanned to improve flow, maximise natural light, and create a more functional layout. A pivotal design change saw the central stair rotated, transforming it into a sculptural feature of the main entryway. A modest addition allowed for five generous bedrooms, blending seamlessly with the home’s original character.

The result is a beautifully restored heritage home, thoughtfully adapted for contemporary family life.
